Handcrafted by UK artisan Megha, Kalpana features a vibrant rainbow beaded centrepiece designed to be worn with interchangeable chains — allowing the necklace to transform effortlessly while remaining deeply personal. The intricate centrepiece alone took over 3 hours to create, followed by a further 2+ hours of careful chain construction, resulting in a thoughtfully engineered, clasp-free statement piece.

Created using hand crochet and wire wrapping techniques, Kalpana is made with high-quality Pearl & Egyptian cotton paired with high quality silver plated (copper core) jewellery wire for comfort and longevity. The detachable design allows you to change the chain while keeping the centrepiece — offering versatility without compromise.

This necklace represents one of the earliest design explorations that later inspired Megha’s signature approach to modular jewellery, including future bridal necklaces with removable centrepieces — where one meaningful element can be restyled again and again.
