Shreya was born in one of the most unlikely of studios — a lap tray. Her maker, Megha had just moved into a new home after seven months of living in a caravan, through one of the worst UK winters on record! Painting room after room by day and beading by night, building two things at once — a home and a garden. Because that is exactly what Shreya is. A garden. One you can wander through. Rich with crimson blooms and forest green leaves, threaded with gold and kissed with seed pearls — a living landscape worn on the wrist, created to complement the Tamira statement earrings and born from the same creative breath.
She arrived at a time before the studio existed, before the upgrades, before the refined techniques that define Mayaani's pieces today. And yet she is extraordinary — because she was made by the same hands, the same 22 years of practice, the same intuition that has always known exactly where each bead belongs. Without Shreya, nothing that came after her would exist. She is the ancestor of the 5-in-1 collection. The proof of what was always possible, even on a lap tray, even in a caravan, even in the depths of a brutal winter.
